My story isn't new but it is important.

It begins in a very beautiful place, at a crossroads, when I was wondering what the next phase would be. It had to have more meaning and it had to do with helping people in some way.

I've worked with and been around a lot of successful people, including self-made multi-millionaires, physicians, attorneys and CEO's. There is one common trait they all share: a good education. It made me think of the expression "a rising tide lifts all boats" and I decided that the "rising tide" is education.

So that was it: provide educational opportunities for children living in poverty and thus give them a hand up to a better life. This includes reducing child trafficking, since it is part of the problem which is happening right now in the US and around the globe.
